I was encouraged to turn the story of Luna into a book, so here it is.

Most books about autism are written by adults for autistic kids or their parents & carers. They help to explain what autism is and why autistic children behave in the way they do. They often act as a “manual” for teachers or parents.

I wanted to do something a little different….

I know that many neurotypical kids don’t understand autism, and also that autistic kids can find it hard to make (and keep) friends.

My book is aimed at children aged 6-10 years. It’s for all children - not just autistic children. Through the story of Luna, I want to explain autism to all young people so that neurodivergent and neurotypical children can be better friends to each other.
